Mobile Marketing

Mobile marketing is the process of brand marketing via mobile phone(s). The delivery of marketing material does not necessarily rely on the mobile carrier; as long as the promotions and marketing has persisted over the the mobile phone. Delivery to the handset (and/or to any destination, for that matter - Mobile Marketing also includes end users using their mobile phone) can happen over the air (SMS, MMS, WAP), bluetooth or even infrared.

Mobile marketing is not limited to any technology, communication or interaction; as long as the mobile phone is involved in the activity. Mobile Marketing can use any on deck or off deck mobile technology or a combination of both.
